We believe each child is a unique individual who deserves the right to reach their optimum potential in a safe, secure and stimulating environment. We aim to provide high quality care in a balanced and relaxed learning environment where children can develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially at their own pace and level of development.

We believe young children learn through play and that every child should have the opportunity to develop healthy and positive self-esteem through appropriate experiences.

We aim to encourage each child's independence, self-confidence and respect for self, others and property through guidance, positive reinforcement and role modelling.

There is now clear evidence that childhood nutrition has a lasting effect on many aspects of health. Children need fresh, nutritional food and well-balanced meals. The Centre will provide healthy and nutritious meals which cover the five food groups, including cereal, fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack. We encourage that you provide a piece of fruit each day to share.

We encourage orientation visits to our centre to familiarise both children and parents before the first day. The seperation anxiety to both children and parents is quite a normal feeling that may continue for a while. Parents are welcome to stay as long as possible. We suggest that before their first day of attendance, you explain to your child about childcare and the wonderful, happy times they will have there. If you have any apprehensions or are unsure of what to do, please talk to one of our staff.

Please remember to sign your child(ren) in and out each day, including any absent days your child may have.

If your require another person (not named on your enrolment form) to collect your child in an emergency, please contact the Centre to make arrangements. Please ask the person to have Photo ID on them for identification.
